Dekat Manjung ada 3 jenis kedai yang aku selalu pergi untuk check harga dan stock makanan kucing yang disediakan. Bukan takde peberet shop, tapi kadang tak semua barang keperluan yang aku nak cari ada dalam satu kedai. Jadi aku pelbagaikan petshop untuk aku singgah and survey barang keperluan terutamanya makanan kucing.
Kalau korang perasan, memang banyak pilihan makanan yang ada dekat pasaran kan. Tapi korang kena aware sekarang ni banyak commercial cat food ada letak bahan-bahan yang mengandungi by-product, karbohidrat, corn, gluten... Bahan-bahan ni tak elok untuk kucing.
Masa nak pilih makanan tu, korang check dulu kat top 5 main ingredient dia, kalau ada gluten/ starch/ corn atau seangkatan dengan-nya, kome kena la hati-hati. Ada sesetengah kucing akan memberikan reaksi alergi kalau makan gluten. Contoh simptom-simptom alergi diarrhea (cirit-birit), muntah dan hilang selera makan.
Kat sini aku akan bagi or share jenis makanan yang kategori elok untuk penghadaman perut anak bulus korang. Aku cerita ni pun based on my own experience, sebab bukan semua kucing ni boleh absorb apa-apa jenis makanan yang disua ke diorang. Ada juga yang jenis usus tu memang sensitif macam kuicng aku Hachiko. So aku bagi jenis makanan ni pun atas nasihat pakar juga lah... bukan saja-saja nak test. Korang kne paham anak kucing ni masa deme kecil la yang nak kena jaga elok-elok.

Paling best ayat diorang mesti berbunyi macam ni " Actually blackwood is better then Royal Canin" and then panjang lebarlah diorang punya explanation even kita tahu RC lebih mahal dari B/W ni kan... but still diorang suruh kita pakai blackwood ni... But another side plak ada yang cakap B/W mempercepatkan pertumbuhan tartar dan plak pada gigi kucing... heheheh... Lain orang banyak la opinion nya..
Tapi orang cakap Blackwood ni one of Favorited kibbles in Malaysia sebab B/W bagi jaminan yang ramuannya tidak mengandungi corn, wheat & soy. Most kucing pun sukakan brand ni juga.. termasuk Hachiko aku.
Kenapa aku cakap macam tu?? Sebabnya, bila aku bagi Chiko Brit Care, dia macam kurang lalu makan sikit. Sampai naik kurus badan dia. Kesian pula aku tengok. Tapi poo dia ok bila makan Brit Care ni. Since dia tak lalu makan, aku try tukar lagi cari makanan yang sesuai dengan usus sensitif dia tu and makanan yang kompem dia makan...
Nah......aku belikan Blackwood...Dia memang sakan suka blackwood ni. Masa 1st timeaku try bagi dia makan, nampak lahap gila dia bedal. And kuih dia pun nampak ok juga, tak cair tapi tak solid juga. But ok la. Aku pun dok rujuk dengan Vet. and dia cakap walaupun poo dia cair tapi bukan ketagori cirit and Chiko sihat. So aku pun teruskan lah bagi b/w ni and sometime aku akan campur juga dengan Brit Care...

Try Brit, dia xmakan langsung. Xtau la kenapa.. Bau Brit tu agak kuat la. Pastu beli Blackwood pula. Suka pulak dia. Cuma xjumpa lagi Blackwood Lean/Senior kt Malaysia ni. Sbb my cat dah 16 tahun (dan gemuk), so nak cari yg betul-betul sesuai dgn dia.

DeleteSejak kucing saya mati kerana CKD, saya dah mula bagi grainfree. Hasilnya, kurang masalah bulu gugur. Dulu I was on IAMS, tapi dah stop. Sekarang beli campur2 brand ikut bajet bulanan - Orijen, Acana, BritCare, Earthborn, Nutrience, Tuscan Naturals. Pastu kadang2 campur2 dengan yang lain macam ClassyCats dan Pronature. Also ikan rebus/ayam rebus/wetfood about 3-4 times a week. Ikutkan hati nak stick to the most expensive - Orijen and Nutrience, tapi kucing saya ada 13 ekor.. pengsan! Dalam dok tukar2 tu, brand yang wajib ada is BritCare outdoor. One of my cats mmg suka sangat brand tu.. so, teruskan beli.
